First, Jesus says, “For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son, so that all will honor the Son even as they honor the Father” (JN 5:22-23). Then when we understand that God will never judge us, Jesus assures us that He Himself never judges us either. He says, “If anyone hears My sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world” (JN 12:47).
But what happens after our deaths? Jesus tells us that even then there is no judgment by anyone but ourselves. He says, “Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you” (MT 7:1-2). And the afterlife evidence of the past two centuries proves Him to be exactly right.
